Orangelo

Thymus vulgaris fragrantissimus

Thyme with overtones of a citrusy orange scent what makes it unique. It’s a hardy perennial with narrow, grey-green leaves that are covered with tiny blush-white flowers during summer. In addition to being valuable in the kitchen, it’s just as useful in the landscape as a fragrant low growing evergreen ground cover. Also suited for growing in pots or mixed containers.

  • Easy to grow

  • Widely used culinary herb used to flavor food dishes.

  • Tough low-growing plant makes an attractive ground cover that can withstand light traffic

  • Can be used to cover slopes, sometimes used as a moss substitute

  • Excellent cascading edge plant for mixed patio containers or flowers and edibles
